Mad for the Ad

  • Bags generate more impressions in the US (5700+) than any other promotional item.
  • Promotional products don't fade away. Across all promotional products, the average length of time a product is kept is 7 months.  Calendars are kept longer (close to 12 months).
  • Promotional products are typically shared and passed along – thereby increasing your reach.  
  • When given a promotional product, most people said they were "grateful," "happy," and/or "appreciative." 
  • Ad specialties are highly cost effective. The cost per impression of 0.7 cents is better than most other forms of advertising (TV, magazines, and newspapers).
  • When a product is useful, it is kept longer.  And consumers like the quality products the best.

The PPAI Get In Touch Campaign shared the following research for why promotional products are so effective with millennials:

  • One third millennials are in contact with promotional products at all times.
  • 81% take action after receiving a promotional product.
  • 80% of millennials keep their ad specialty for more than a year.
  • 80% pass their promotional product along instead of throwing it away.
  • 90% recall the brand and 60% recall the message.
  • 83% of all millennials like promotional products.
